Welcome and thank you for visiting A Moment on Earth Nature and Wildlife Photography. The photographs displayed in these Galleries represent a small sample of my work. I began photographing local wildlife as a hobby in 2001 while studying Biology at UMASS Amherst. Since that time, although I am a high school biology teacher by profession, my photographs have been published in scientific studies, used as models for artwork and are currently sold as cards, calendars and prints here online and in some local stores. All of my wildlife photographs represent organisms that are indigenous to the Greater Northampton Massachusetts area. Keep in mind while browsing that some resolution has been sacrificed in order to format the images for display on the internet.
